Warrah Specialist School is proudly Australia’s only Steiner school dedicated to providing high-quality K-12 education for children with intellectual disabilities and accompanying diagnoses, such as autism, ADHD, and more. Located in the peaceful bushland setting of Dural, NSW, Warrah offers a unique educational experience, to meet the needs of children with moderate to severe disabilities.

By integrating Steiner principles with NESA (New South Wales Education Standards Authority) life skills outcomes, we ensure our students are equipped with the skills necessary for a life beyond school, which enables them to fully participate in society.

Our Transition Program for Senior Students
We know that the transition from school to adulthood can be a big step, so we’ve created a Bespoke Transition Program to help our senior students, and their families, take it with confidence. This program is designed to meet each student where they’re at and help them develop the skills they’ll need to live as independently as possible. From learning daily life skills, travel training and grocery shopping, to on and offsite work experience, the program is designed around each student’s unique interests and needs. Our team works closely with families to ensure that every student is ready for the next stage of their journey.
