NDIS
The National Disability Insurance Scheme Quality and Safeguards Commission is an independent agency established to improve the quality and safety of NDIS supports and services. The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) replaces the existing state system with an approach based on an entitlement to support people with disability.
Warrah is a registered Service Provider (Registration Number 4-3LLK-1313) under the NDIS meaning you can use your NDIS Funding to access services and supports at Warrah.
The NDIS Commission regulates NDIS Providers, provides national consistency, promotes safety and quality services, resolves problems and identifies areas for improvement.
People with Disability have the right to decide their own best interests, and to have choice and control over their lives and the supports they receive. Through the NDIS, people with disability will be able to access the reasonable and necessary supports they need, to live the life they want and achieve their goals and aspirations.
Warrah has a wide range of flexible services available for you and your child that are covered by NDIS funding. We will support you in learning new life skills, providing personal care, facilitating space for your chosen therapies, and being part of the community.
Warrah will work with parents and carers to create a support plan that matches your individual goals and aspirations. Supporting your goals is an important step towards independence. Our top priority is to make sure your child is living the life you want.
Warrah is registered to provide the following supports and services:
- Develop life skills
- Daily tasks/share living
- Assist with travel/transport
- Assist with daily personal activities
- Assist with personal activities (high)
- Assist access/maintain employment
- Group/centre activities
- Support coordination
- SDA
- Participate in the community
- Assistance with household tasks
